I find your take on a 22 foot “liveaboard” really interesting. I have a Hunter 22 and will use your ideas! Did you build the houses on top? I need such a thing as my hatch is shot. Love your doghouse… It’s how I found you.

Peter, The previous owner modified the cabin top. It provided 5′ 10″ or so of headroom, and I am just over that. My opinion is that it would have been better to keep it original, tho my father, who is shorter did enjoy using it, but not the lowered resale value it seemed to give the boat. Overall, the modifications were strong and lasted past our ownership of the boat.

Another question, What method did you use to create your site? It is quite good.
