Adobe/Macromedia Flash – Doomed(We are)
Flash is one of those technologies that the novice web developers seem to love, because it’s easy and well ‘flashy’. Unfortunately the reality is, by using Flash you are supporting software that will ultimately restrict/control your web experience. Boycott flash, don’t install it, and send e-mails/feedback/guestbook entries to any site using it(Asking them for a flash alternative).
Reasons to boycott Adobe Flash: (In no particular order)
DRM(It’s a BAD THING ppl); Will restrict access, and force commercials on you.
Closed Specification: DMCA(Lets not get into that, yet)
Search engines can’t easily index content.
Difficult for people requiring accessibility features.
